2019 Jan. Bushfires in Tasmania

Smoky, windy, hot and cold all at the same time! The forest to the west of us on fire for weeks. The Tahune Airwalk 30 minutes from us caught up in the fire. Three fire fronts approaching us from over the hill. We plugged on finishing the brickwork on level Two between hosing down the cottage where we live. We and the two cats finally had to evacuate to the basement of the Castle where we found a tiger snake had already found a safe spot.
