We are formalizing the edges of the dam with brick walls. As this is a big project, we have hired a bricklayer to help.

Formalizing
the Upper Dam.
This project started in June 2014 when Francis decided he wanted the upper dam to be larger. By September he had moved a lot of soil with the Kubota. He then breached the dam and drained it as he wanted an island just where the wall was. By January 2015, we had done a lot of hand excavating and rock cleaning and had one length of wall started. We then decided to hire another bricklayer to speed up the project. Mark is thoroughly enjoying bricking our curving walls.
