Mosaic Workshop at the Castle

We were very proud to have hosted the MAANZ group for a mosaic workshop. The Tasmanian branch of MAANZ (Mosaic Assoc of Australia and NZ) held their symposium in Hobart. As part of the celebrations, they had two bus tours - one to MONA and the other to Castle Phoenix. Local mosaic enthusiasts also attended. We had several volunteers who helped make the day very enjoyable. Francis's Mum Hope from Mackay attended and his sister, Christine from Brisbane. We held three Castle tours while others mosaiced diligently. Three copies of famous paintings were started, circles were created by beginners and others worked on 3D florals using broken china.
