The Upper Dam

The upper dam has been mostly empty since work started on it in 2014. We have had a 90 mm pipe keeping it drained. Occasionally, the rain overwhelmed this pipe and the dam has temporarily filled. We have drowned a bag of cement, a wheelbarrow and the tractor - the latter proved very costly. We decided to take a couple of weeks to get the dam to a stage where we could let it fill. We finished the overflow, the last promenade wall and the beach wall.
