There is an incredible amount of steel required for a suspended slab. There are two layers of mesh so you have to have a small chair and a taller chair to keep them both at the correct heights. Over this we have to tie on 12 mm reo bar across all the internal walls. The perimeter has an upper and lower 12 mm reo bar. We went through thousands of reo ties.
